A quote from an unknown individual.
The amount of times I've procrastinated on something and ended up regretting that I didn't do it earlier. Although I always enjoy whatever I did while I procrastinated, I'd always feel guilty and uneasy afterwards.
I found that whenever I did something early or when I completed something according to my original schedule, it felt more rewarding and relieving. Working on something early allowed me to be able to complete my work at ease as I knew I had the time and also would be able to relax later on.

It's hard to start things at times, however, continue to remind yourself how much better you'll feel once it's done. Getting it out of the way and letting yourself focus on other work or on yourself is always a gratifying feeling.
I, myself, am still working towards doing this consistently, but I'm getting there ;) Let's work towards this together !!
And if you really cannot make progress on something and your brain is at a complete blank - it's okay !! Try working on something else - try to complete an easier task to gain momentum. Alternatively, you can take a short breather and come back when you're ready.
Don't forget to take care of yourselves and get plenty of sleep during these holidays!
